takes pride in offering quality products at an affordable price. Amsterdam Overhead Door Company's extensive line of commercial products including sectional, rolling steel, rolling grille and high speed doors as well as related products ranging from electric door openers
to loading dock equipment.
Products are from eight major doors and electric operator companies. They include Haas, Garaga, C.H.I, Amarr, Cornell/Cookson, LiftMaster and Linear operators.
“We offer good products combined with good value,” pointed out Lou Mosher, owner of the Amsterdam Overhead Door Company. “When you buy from us, you have the assurance of a product that will last and a company that will stand behind what it sells.”
Centrally located in Amsterdam, its service area includes Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady and Schoharie counties, but the business does travel outside those counties upon request.
“We service what we sell,” said Bill Gutowski, Residential Sales Specialist. He pointed out that “in addition, the company sells individual components so that the residential “do-it-yourself” customers can buy overhead doors and parts or sections of overhead doors and install the product on their own”.

Products are often quoted on an “installed” basis, but doors and parts are available for pick-up by the “do-it-yourselfer”. Need a torsion spring? Call with the required information and it probably can be made up on the spot. We also assist the home or business owner as well as the architect in making the right selection for their project and we offer the broadest selection of colors.
The Amsterdam Overhead Door Company is a family-owned business that was founded in 1924. The Mosher family is proud of the products they sell and install and the service they provide.
